Say Hello to the Humber Boxing Network!

Humber Boxing Network (HBN) is a new platform giving rise to all levels of boxing across the East Riding of Yorkshire, Hull, North and Northeast Lincolnshire.

‘The aim of the network is simple. Firstly the platform will be used to promote the sport of boxing across the Humber Region. We hope the network will enhance the opportunities available for local professional boxers in our area and where possible, HBN will assist with raising the profile of local gyms, trainers and boxers, whether amateur or professional. Humber Boxing Network is to help boxing connect and collaborate with local businesses who also wish to support the sport of boxing throughout the Humber Region. One of Humber Boxing The network's long-term goals is to foster connections and collaborations between local businesses and the sport of boxing across the Humber Region.

Despite the amazing successes of our past boxers, such as Luke Campbell, and our region's rich boxing history, it is of my belief that the region has still underachieved and is a sleeping giant in waiting. I think it should be a realistic aim for our region to produce a world champion within the next 20 years and I hope the Humber Boxing Network can help contribute to this in any way, no matter how small.
