Levi Giles in action-packed draw

Levi Giles was looking to bounce back following his defeat to Recce Bellotti where he missed out on the prized British Super Featherweight title. Levi recently took on Leeds based boxer Qais Ashfaq on an action packed GBM Sports card. Qais Ashfaq had also missed out on the British Super Featherweight title back in 2023 when he missed out on a split decision against Liam Dillon.

Both fighters put on a show, with the bout described by many as ‘Fight of the Night’. Qais started better out of the two, but Levi managed to regain composure and managed to take charge of the championship rounds. The fight went the distant with the referee raising both fighters hand ups up in the ring to confirm the draw.

The closely fought contest, will have both camps eyeing up a rematch. Levi Giles hopes a future fight between the two will be over a belt. Speaking after the bout, Levi Giles said: “WHAT A NIGHT! Firstly I want to thank my dance partner @qais_ashfaq you are a top man , and have a great team behind you I think we stole the show last night to be honest in a great fight … I like you until the bell goes for round thirteen and we have to do it again for hopefully a shiny belt on the line what we both deserve bro massive respect."

Humber Boxing Network is excited to see what is next for Levi as he will be seeking redemption and titles in 2025!
