Young hull prospect steps up for English title bout
Logan Richardson after defeating Jake Harrison with a knockout to claim the Central Area Championship belt in March 2024.
Logan Richardson is gearing up for his fight for the English Bantamweight title and Commonwealth Silver on March 29th at the GL1 Leisure centre in Gloucester.
Richardson’s opponent Lewis Roberts, holds a perfect record of 11-0 as well as the current English Bantamweight and Commonwealth Silver title, therefore it’s clear that the fight will surely be a challenge for Richardson. However, still young in his career, Richardson is beginning to make a habit out of beating the odds, defeating Jake Harrison, by KO in March of last year. The Hull born boxer wasn’t tipped to get the win in that fight but he ended it in spectacular fashion, and now with another year of training behind him, many will be confident that he comes out on top in this one too.
Workout Boxing Academy in Hull is Richardson’s training base where he trains under coaches Ivor Clement, Rob Gutherless and Wayne Seaton. Working a full time job and training when he is not sleeping, Richardson personifies the power of hard work and hopefully will show just how far it can take you in the professional boxing industry. You’ll want to keep your eyes on this prospect.
We wish him the best of luck in his fight on the 29th!
