Box Club announces amateur affiliation!

2025 has started with a bang for Box Club, who recently announced they have been granted amateur affiliation by England boxing.

Box Club was opened in May 2024 by former professional boxer Connor Coghill, the gyms pro stable is already taking shape with Connor assigned as trainer to highly regarded Middleweight Ted Jackson.

He and Box club have now set their sights on building an elite amateur stable, with their aim to have young people fighting competitively in club shows and major tournaments across the country.

One senior amateur already on Box Club’s books is GB’s Owen Ketley “He has a very big future in the sport and a major goal of his is to box in the LA Olympics if they go ahead.” said Coghill.

As part of this exciting announcement Box Club will now be hosting carded amateur classes, ran by head coach Carter Palmer:

Monday 6:30pm-8:00pm (£3)

Wednesday 6:30pm-8:00pm (£3)

Friday 6:30pm-8:00pm (£3)
